Round 'em Up!

They say there's two things you should never talk about at cocktail parties: religion and politics.  Both are extremely touchy subjects because each of us has our his or her own opinion on such matters.  But brace yourself, all of you highly-opinionated political consumers, it's about to get personal.

So without further ado, here's your weekly dose of political punditry as supplied by the wonderful people of the blogosphere:

"Old Jews, Young Jew, Red Jews, Blue Jews":  From Robin Maxwell's blog from Huffington Post--Maxwell looks at an interesting trend among her fellow Jews: many of them refuse to vote for Obama because he's black.  As strange (and untrue) as it may sound, Maxwell does her due diligence in digging up the facts behind the rumor.

"My Muslim Faith":  From "The Right Score," a conservative political blog--This very interesting post includes a clip of the video interview with Obama on "This Week," when he apparently misspoke and referred to his "muslim faith."

"Are Evangelicals Really Sold on Palin?":  From Time.com (while not technically a blog, it's an interesting article, nonetheless)--A look at how Christians are responding to McCain's pick for VP.  Taken issue by issue, the article looks at how Palin's views stack up against Christian values... which may determine whether McCain can keep the Christian vote.

meriah, so the post has 234 words, 3 repurposed images, 3 links, and i added the voting poll on the sidebar (i'm not sure if that counts as a widget).

I really like this interesting approach to the Blog Roundup. I checked out the TIME magazine article, and it was insightful to just how important a candidate's religion is to winning more votes. Thanks for all the useful links to blogs with a religious edge.
