Help for your first time (or making this time better)

You may think you know whom you are voting for, but you may be surprised to find out just how much in common you and your selected candidate actually have. At Glassbooth.org, you can rank how important various issues including the use of medical marijuana, abortion, trade and economics and gun control. Then they track your responses and analyze how the three main candidates stack up against your sentiments.

Afterwards, you can navigate through a series of candidates and issues to see how each view topics that are important to you. The site also has links that can help you find ways to get involved, including voter registration (can’t forget to do that!). You can even add the Facebook application so you can compare your views with those of your friends.

The site prides themselves on their unbiased, nonpartisan stance that doesn’t so much tell you who to vote for as it does give you information so that you can make an informed decision. So whether you have absolutely no idea about who you’re voting for come November or whether you’ve got your Obama or McCain buttons on every piece of clothing you own, you can never have too much information.
