One step for McCain, one giant leap backward for mankind

It is the year 2008. Choice is so abundant that almost everything can be customized and tailor made to one’s preference. Choice is even written into our Constitution. So, it is difficult to believe that nearly four decades later, the right to choose abortion, an action empowering women, is being opposed by our potential vice president, a representative of our supposedly progressive country.

In the same vane, our country is built upon freedoms. McCain may be giving the American people more of the same, but his vice presidential running mate Sarah Palin is regressing in a country that is known for progressing. Abortion gives women the power to decide what is best for themselves and what is best for the new life they can potentially bring into this world.

I admire her for following her own values and promoting them within her family in a world lacking authenticity, but I truly believe that it is ingenuous to try overturning an entitlement that makes us the United States of America.

My post falls under the analysis/opinion category and I included a picture as well.
