USG Excercise

This is good UGC because it was taken by someone who actually attended the protest. It looks raw and unedited which leads me to believe this is something original and not re-purposed from a news organization. In this case, user generated photo works to tell the story-the viewer gets the feeling they were at the protest-it's dark, blurry, etc. resembling some the characteristics of the real protest.

This is interesting UGC because the user who took this photo was so close. Being right in the middle of the huge crowd is almost a better angle than where the media may have a seat at a rally. Barack Obama looks larger than life in this image-invoking some awe inspiring feelings from the viewer.

This is really interested UGC because it is incredibly graphic-not something that would end up on a news site. It shows a different side of war not portrayed regularly in the media. It seems like UGC is the way to go if a viewer really wants to get the real idea about what's going on in Iraq.
